Genesis

Under MSME Act ( 2006 ), the ministry of MSME is envisaged to promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprise ( MSME ) with classification in manufacturers and Service Enterprise.

The role is to encourage entrepreneurship, employment and enhance economic status.

THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ( ESDP )

This is to hone up the youth in entrepreneurial skills and guide them towards Self - Empowerment and Entrepreneurship.

N - MSME - CEVTI conducts the ESDP in the form of Diploma and Certificate Courses in the areas of Technical and Vocational Secondary Education.

After completion, the diplomates shall be recommended to the District Industrial Centre ( DIC ) of all district headquarters for financial and technical support. Further get the support from banks for loans.

Institute in conjunction with Vel Amirtham MSME Community College, Thanjavur offer courses under the National Academic Council with expert panel and members.
